Get Creative & innovative with our LIVE online class. The girls will program and build their own game using Scratch, the drag-and-drop creative learning environment developed by MIT Media Lab. You will use code blocks and characters to gain a foundation in computational thinking, creating animated stories and games.
Art – Vi, Tula & Clover
Daisies may not have an Artist Legacy badge, but the Vi, Tula, and Clover petals are all amazing opportunities for your girls to bring out their inner artist. Create a mural about Girl Scouts from around the world to earn the Be a Sister to Every Girl Scout Vi petal, create an art gallery to celebrate women who are courageous and strong to earn your Tula petal, or upcycle old magazines, photos, and postcards to collect your Use Resources Wisely Clover petal. Not only will your girl’s vest or tunic look amazing with three new colorful petals on it, your community, classrooms, and refrigerator doors will be more beautiful too!
Science – Space Science Explorer
Set your future space explorers on a trajectory from our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system! This hands-on program will bring children closer to the stars, planets, comets, and more. Learn about living in space, getting away from gravity, looking for space phenomena, and building rockets!
